Our Story
Founded in 2009 by educator Maria Rodriguez, The First Tenderfoot began as a small neighborhood school with a big dream: to create a place where children could learn, play, and grow in a supportive environment.
What started with just 12 students has grown into a thriving community of over 500 children and families. Our success comes from our unwavering commitment to quality education and genuine care for each child.
Today, we continue to innovate and adapt our programs to meet the evolving needs of modern families while staying true to our core values of care, learning, and community.
